Commercial Air export
We need the commercial invoice and packing list from the manufacturers as well as clarification on the Inco terms of the fright charges.
We collect from all over the UK and deliver to destination airport within 3-5 days. Door delivery service is also available upon request.
Our staff are well trained to deal with shipments under letter of credits, charges collect or FOB. We can also apply for certificate of origin for your shipments on your behalf.
Consolidation
DFS can offer you consolidation services. You may want to purchase goods from various manufactures, consolidate them and send them all together to the destination port or airport. DFS can arrange this for you and make this process as easy as possible.
We can collect from various collection points or you can ask the manufactures that you ordered your goods from to deliver the goods to our warehouse. Once we receive all the goods on your behalf, we coordinate with you regarding packing your cargo and consolidating before exporting.
Air Freight Import
C3: Bringing personal belongings to UK from outside the EC
A form to declare personal belongings to Customs and claim any duty and tax reliefs that may apply when returning or transferring residence to the European Community.
DFS can clear your import's good from personal belongings to commercial commodity such as Aircraft engines or pharmaceuticals from customs seven days a week and deliver your goods to your door or business on the same day or next day.
You don't need to be physically present for clearance. The whole process will be done via email or on the phone. All you need to do is to ask the airline or shipping line to authorize DFS to clear your cargo.

Road Freight

Bonded warehouse and Transhipment facility
DFS has a Custom bonded ERTS facility at its Feltham Warehouse, this
enables us to remove uncleared goods from the TSO (Transit Shed Operators)
warehouses to our facility for customs clearance.
In addition we can receive goods arriving by road under customs bond from
the EU and non EU countries direct into our facility for customs clearance.
Transhipment services are available for UK terminating AWB's with an
ultimate destination to another country for the cargo.
Re issue of a new AWB, re labelling, repacking are all part of the services
available.

Customs procedure
Our aim is to simplify the complicated process of customs formalities for our customers. Our electronic connection to customs has enabled us to provide our customers with an efficient and rapid-entry.
We are capable of preparing and organising all the documents and paperwork that is required by customs and advice on rate and classification of your shipment.
When shipping a parcel within the EU (European Union), there are no duties or taxes payable. However when you are shipping a parcel outside the EU, there may be duties or taxes to pay, depending on what you are sending and where you are sending to.
These charges are not included in the price you pay to DFS Worldwide. Any duties or taxes are payable by the recipient. For any information on duties and taxes, you need to contact HM Revenue & Customs www.hmrc.gov.uk.
